Graphics Programming

I have written rendering code, or renderers for a very large range of products, from early consoles, to professional CAD packages, to inflight entertainment software and mobile.

Early version of PSX Speed Tribes. Writing real time 3D games on such an early console was challenging to say the least. Particle effects went a long way on those early consoles.

I think one of my biggest challenges, was a jumping onto a project with 35,000 files, and replacing the legacy fixed pipeline opengl renderer with my own real time ray tracer.

Here are some images from that dental cad software I helped develop. I played around with developing an opalescent shader, A shiny satin like material, and even a weird pigskin like material. Also some ambient occlusion, and zombie style teeth.

This is a video from the real time ray tracer I wrote using Nvidia's Optix. I was playing around with a few effects including transparency and sub surface scattering.
